It is a true honor for a photographer to be asked to photograph a family year after year. This family is long time friends and clients. They wanted to do family photos in a rural landscape and I was so exctited to take them to Muscatatuck in Seymour, Indiana. It was so hot and muggy outside, but the wildflowers and cloudy sky was well worth enduring the heat. See my favorites below!
Columbus, Indiana was one of the few places in America where we were able to witness the totality of the eclipse on April 8th, 2024. With the eclipse as an excuse for families and friends to gather they created memories that would last a lifetime. The combination of this unique event and a family with heartfelt expressions made for stunning photographs, encapsulating both the wonder of the eclipse and the bonds of family. This session was done early in the morning with this sweet family. We went to Mill Race Park, in Columbus, Indiana and the light was just perfect. I was afraid it was going to be cloudy that day, and I do love doing photos on cloudy days, but there is just something I love about backlight! This family is just so happy together!
